Clarkfork River
The Clark Fork river offers many miles of superb Montana fly fishing—from its headwaters in the Deer Lodge Valley all the way to its confluence with the Flathead River near St. Regis, Montana. Our guided Clark Fork river fly fishing trips are primarily on the upper reaches above Missoula and the lower stretches of the river near St. Regis.
Depending on the time of year an angler can experience some of the most rewarding (and sometimes challenging) dry fly fishing in western Montana on the Clark Fork river. What can be more rewarding than throwing big, bushy dry flies and hooking in to large, healthy fish? The river is big, the fish are big and strong, and the scenery is spectacular too.
